The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
